Griffin's 4th Birthday Party with Family

Little man turned 4 on September 8th.  Can't believe how time flies.  What a difference a year makes!  Don't get me wrong, he can still be a stinker, but wow he has really grown up this past year.

Both sets of grandparents, all the aunts, uncles & cousin Owen came for the festivities.  Great Nana E. and Great Nana & Great Papa Y. came too.  We had pancakes and other breakfast foods--Griff's favorite.  Griffin wanted a John Deere theme--so that is what he got.

I asked that the kids abide by a strict dress code.  Only John Deere attire allowed.
They didn't seem to mind.

Birthday boy devoured his pancakes.  Not sure if he was A) really hungry B) loved the taste of my pancakes (added a little Sprite to them) or C) wanted to eat quickly so he could open presents. Pretty sure he wanted to open his presents!

A good friend of my sister's made Griffin's amazing tractor cake.  My sister found a picture on the internet and Naomi was able to replicate it.  AMAZING.  Not only did it look good, but it tasted sooooo good!  She also made the cake balls that are surrounding the tractor.  (Naomi makes these yummy treats in Des Moines, so if you want her info, contact me!)

Present time!

Go Hawks!

Griffin got a set of golf clubs from Nana & Papa B.  He seriously has asked everyday since he got them if he can go golfing.  I am really impressed by how well he can hit the ball.

Channy wanted in on the action.

Griffin got tons of great toys, clothes, books, movies & money.  Thank you to all the family for spoiling him rotten!!!  We plan to go through our old toys and donate them.
